Green City-Clean Waters Survey Responses Needed

The Philadelphia Water Department is trying to gain insight on the public’s perception of Green City, Clean Waters. Green City, Clean Waters is Philadelphia’s plan to manage stormwater pollution entering our creeks and rivers through the use of green infrastructure. They are asking all to complete a short survey about the program. You do not need to be familiar with the plan or green stormwater infrastructure to participate in this survey.

The data gathered is important for developing and implementing strategies manage stormwater throughout the city. Responses from Eastwick and southwest Philadelphia are especially encouraged, as we are located at the lower end of the Darby-Cobbs Creek Watershed, meeting up with the Delaware River Watershed.

The survey deadline has been extended to April 4, 2016.  EFNC encourages all to participate. Water is an ever-present and a vital component of our community’s environmental, economic, and social well-being. Innovative stormwater management benefits everyone!

The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete, and is confidential and anonymous. Contact Hailey Stern, Philadelphia Water Department Outreach Specialist, or at 267-625-0280 with any questions.
